Insurance companies will often contract an IMC practitioner to review a file and offer an in-depth analysis of the patient's injuries and treatment plan. Jonathan accepts referrals from many types of practitioners. There are many reasons a patient or practitioner may want a second opinion - plateaued progress, differing opinions, advanced intervention required. If you have a patient that you would like to have assessed please complete a referral form. Please indicate if you would like to attend the appointment with your patient.
ROLE OF THE INJURY MANAGEMENT CONSULTANT
An injury management consultant (IMC) is a resource for physiotherapists and chiropractors used to improve treatment outcomes. Although designed as a tool for MVA patients, any patient that has plateaued or is failing to meet their functional goals would benefit from a consultation. Referring is as simple as completing an AB5 form and submitting it to the insurance company and the IMC you are referring to.
